Ski season opens! (In the southern hemisphere, that is.)

We’re having a mini-heatwave here in Vermont this week so it gets me looking for ways to cool off. As you might imagine, I'm not a fan of the heat. 

Skiing photos to the rescue!

Here are shots, below, of some fresh tracks and fresh snow at Valle Nevado, Chile, and Las Leñas, Argentina. Valle Nevado opens this weekend. Down in the southern hemisphere, resorts in Argentina, New Zealand, Chile and Australia are now coming alive.
