Thursday featured skiing above the clouds at some of Vermont's ski resorts, while Thursday night and Friday featured a mix of snow, sleet and rain. Grrrrrrrrr.
The ski resorts are reporting that they picked up a couple inches of snow, but they also got freezing rain and plain old rain. The groomers will have to work their magic!

In other news, SkiMaven was in the news! We were quoted in an Associated Press article about skiing on the cheap. It has been seen so far on the <link http: www.washingtonpost.com lifestyle travel now-that-the-snow-is-finally-falling-tips-for-saving-on-ski-equipment-lift-tickets-lodging giqaysfztq_story.html _blank external-link-new-window>Washington Post website, as well as Albany Times-Union and Atlanta Journal Constitution. Very cool.
